    Instructional Technology Equipment for EDTECH Program

    To: All Bidders
    Please be informed of the following questions received and the Public School System's responses to the above-referenced Invitation for Bid.

    Q.1 - Microsoft Office Home 2024: The specifications list shows this item but the quantity field appears blank. Should we quote 120 licenses to match the laptop quantity, or is a different quantity required? 
    A.1 - The bid should quote for 120 licenses of Microsoft Office Home 2024
    Q.2 - Delivery Coordination: Can you provide the specific contact name and phone number at the Lower Base receiving warehouse for coordinating the delivery of 120+ technology units?
    A.2.a - Yes, this can be provided after the execution of a contract so as to maintain the impartiality of PSS prior to the bid opening.
    A.2.b - Delivery should be door-to-door (direct to the warehouse). Delivery should be inclusive of all fees, taxes, and duties that are required to deliver directly to the PSS warehouse.
    Q.3 - Apple School Manager Setup: For the required enrollment in CNMI PSS Apple School Manager (Organization ID: 25142690), is there a designated PSS IT contact who will coordinate this setup process with our team?
    A.3 - Enrollment of the devices into the CNMI PSS Apple School Manager (Organization ID: 25142690) is not required for this bid. Vendors are not expected to coordinate any setup or enrollment of these devices into Apple School Manager as part of this procurement.
    Q.4 - Laptop Bag Specifications: Beyond "13.6-inch compatible," are there any preferred brands, features, or additional specifications for the laptop shoulder bags?
    A.4 - Provided that the laptop shoulder bag accommodates a 13.6-inch device there are no additional requirements.
    Q.5 - Delivery Schedule: Given CNMI's unique logistics environment, would PSS consider the 45-day delivery requirement met if all items arrive within the timeframe but final setup/documentation extends a few days due to inter-island coordination needs?
    A.5 – All items must be delivered within 45 calendar days. No extension will be given.
    Q.6 - For the requested USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, please confirm that you are requesting for a 4-in-1 USB-C to Multiport Adapter. If yes, kindly advise if you need an SD Card Reader or Micro SD Card Reader on the Adapter.

    A.6 - Provided the adapter has USB 3.0, USB-C, and an HDMI port, the SD Card Reader is not necessary.
    Q.7 - Please advise on the needed quantity for the Microsoft Office Home 2024.
    A.7 - Quantity: 120
